We're seeking for a talented, experienced Senior Visual Designer for brand identity and digital service/product design to enrich our branding and marketing capabilities. A Senior Visual Designer is at the heart of driving and delivering creative ideas. You’ll be responsible for introducing and maintaining world-class creative skills and standards within your discipline. You’ll work as part of a team to provide creative excellence to our clients and meet Motley’s needs in being a successful agency.

What we expect from you:

  • Excellent visual communication, art direction and conceptual skills 
  • Work collaboratively and openly with other designers: Brainstorming, sketching, verbalizing and prototyping 
  • Work collaboratively and openly with other disciplines: Our strategy, sales, storytelling and development teams, both internally and externally
  • Over 5 years of experience in creating visual solutions, helping businesses, and building brands preferably in an agency environment

You must be able to…

  • Give substantive input into creative thinking, design, and conceptual ideas
  • Shape the way a brand expresses itself through visual language and determine the direction of their visual identity in different content formats and media
  • Lead and manage design projects with various clients and build compelling visual presentations, providing a strong rationale for chosen visual approaches
  • Identify the conceptual and strategic direction for various projects, and clearly presents those ideas to the team and the client
  • Develop visual assets and identities from the ground up
  • Prepare materials and stimuli, participate in and facilitate workshops
  • Help evolve the visual identity discipline at Motley and train internal teams to understand key points of view and approaches to identity deliverables
  • Help shape and capture strategic deliverables, including brand ideas, positioning statements, and personality
  • Work with and guide other members of the team and contribute to the wider Motley viewpoint
  • Be comfortable presenting ideas and creative work internally and externally while providing rational and emotional argumentation for your choices.

You should have a strong knowledge of design and branding as well as understanding about the world, people and phenomenas.  Bonus points for understanding of technology, usability and experience design. We appreciate strong skills in work flows and methods; lean models, agility, consultation, prototyping, or other visual tools, as well as understanding of design processes across disciplines. We hope you’ll be comfortable with our “fail fast, learn quickly” approach – it doesn’t pay to sit on your ideas like ostrich eggs waiting to hatch.
