Service Designer

We are doing bigger, more challenging, more important work than we’ve ever done before, and we are looking for service designer to beef up our team.

You have a deep understanding of people. And you understand how design can solve real everyday problems and how it is essential to capturing business opportunities. Our service designers discover, understand, and communicate the business requirements of our clients, the desires of their customers, and the context in which these come together.

As a Motley service designer you’ll carry out the service design process from end to end: from capturing stakeholder insights to formulating design hypotheses, from prototyping and testing to fine-tuning each last pixel.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Background in service design with several years’ experience
  • Ability to understand business needs and user needs and find the opportunities where they converge
  • Understanding of the strategy development process is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create personas, ecosystem diagrams, customer journey maps, service blueprints, storyboards, scenarios
  • Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and other exercises to lead our clients and teams to triumph
  • Collaborate with our strategists on product vision, roadmap and service business planning

We’d like you to have a minimum of 3 years agency work as a service designer or something similar. Titles vary, we know, but the principles of service design are universal. You’ll work closely with our Strategists, Business Development people and our UX and UI Designers.
